We believe in user privacy and data minimization. Pizza Shop is built on decentralized Base blockchain technology and non-custodial Web3 wallet architecture. We never sell your personal data, never track you across external sites, and never have access to your private cryptographic keys.
You control your wallet and assets. We cannot transfer your funds or NFTs.
We do not track your activity across external sites or harvest personal data.
All NFT and reward claims are verified on public Base contracts.
1Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Pizza Shop ("we", "our", or "the Protocol"), available at https://pizza-shop-nft.vercel.app, collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when you use our website, decentralized application (dApp), progressive web app (PWA), and associated smart contracts deployed on the Base Sepolia network.
By connecting a cryptographic wallet, minting NFTs, or interacting with our smart contracts, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices described herein.
2Information We Collect
We collect the absolute minimum data required to facilitate web3 interactions and ensure platform integrity:
- Public Blockchain Data: When you connect a wallet or execute transactions, your public Ethereum-compatible wallet address (e.g., 0x...), token balances, transaction hashes, NFT mints, and reward claim events are recorded on the public Base Sepolia blockchain. Blockchain records are immutable, decentralized, and public by design.
- Client-Side Preferences & Local Storage: To ensure a seamless PWA experience, we store non-sensitive state in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage, including active wallet addresses, preferred language selection (pizza_lang), audio sound-effect toggles (SFX On/Off), and recent on-chain activity caches to reduce network RPC latency.
- Technical Diagnostic Logs: Standard web server requests automatically record basic HTTP diagnostic metadata (such as IP addresses, browser user-agent, operating system, and request timestamps) solely for DDoS mitigation, security auditing, and maintaining server availability.

Your information is used strictly to power core dApp functionality:

We never monetize, rent, or trade your personal information. We only interface with essential infrastructure providers required to operate the decentralized application:
- Base Sepolia Blockchain (Coinbase): Broadcasts and settles transactions and smart contract calls.
- Public RPC Providers: Relay public blockchain read and write requests to the Base network.
- Vercel Cloud Hosting: Provides secure content delivery and serverless API execution.
5Security & Non-Custodial Architecture
We implement robust security standards to safeguard our infrastructure. Crucially, the Pizza Shop dApp is built on a non-custodial paradigm. We do not hold custody of your private cryptographic keys, seed phrases, or digital assets.
You are exclusively responsible for safeguarding access to your external Web3 wallets (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Rabby).
6Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the European Economic Area and California), you possess statutory rights regarding your personal information, including:
- The right to know what personal data we hold about you.
- The right to request the deletion or correction of your off-chain preferences and cached sessions.
- The right to disconnect your Web3 wallet from the application at any time.
Note on Blockchain Immutability: Due to the decentralized, immutable nature of blockchain technology, transactions, mint records, and token balances broadcast to the public Base blockchain cannot be modified or deleted by us or any third party.
